KUBRA is looking for a hungry Regional Sales Manager to develop new business in the Utilities sector.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving value-driven solution sales efforts to grow KUBRA’s on-demand payment solution’s market share, revenue and presence, achieving net new business “wins” for KUBRA within the Utility vertical – City, County, Local, State & Federal levels – across the assigned South East territory.

How You’ll Contribute

  • As a Regional Sales Manager, you will shape our interactions with clients and create the vision match using our suite of Bill-Pay technology solutions to solve client’s business problems, achieving and exceeding a quota of net new business wins within the assigned Utilities industry – this is where your experience in driving new sales opportunities will benefit you
  • Develop new business through consultative selling to high-level executives, prospecting, preparation of proposals, and reporting of sales activities to the VP of North American Sales
  • Manage the flawless execution of the KUBRA sales process from initiation-to-close – including preparation of sales proposals, delivery of sales presentations, contract negotiations, signing and implementation definition (statement of work), financial analysis, SOW development, and transition to the assigned implementation/account management teams
  • Assess industry specific markets, pricing strategies, customer needs, and the competition. In addition, analyze market and product opportunities in conjunction with the appropriate departments
  • You will also be travelling – up to 50% – to various client sites throughout the U.S. Travel typically involves day trips to client sites for sales presentations, and for representing and demonstrating KUBRA’s solutions to customers at industry events and trade shows

  • An excellent communicator both when writing and speaking — you’re comfortable presenting solutions and information to existing and potential clients, and are able to clearly articulate KUBRA solutions and business value propositions to prospects
  • Someone who is familiar with the latest internet-based technologies, has a technical aptitude for learning new software, and can quickly apply that knowledge to your everyday activities
  • Self-motivated and organized – you’re a self-started and have the disciplined work ethic to work remotely

Skills That Matter in This Role

  • 3+ years of experience selling into the Utilities vertical – you have existing contacts/relationships and understand the sales process
  • 3+ years of experience selling Bill-Pay technology solutions, print and mail and/or payment processing
  • Preference for Payments experience (NACHA, PCI  DSS)
  • Experience with SalesForce.com
  • Working knowledge of CIS systems – Oracle, SAP etc.
  • Ability to execute a Sales plan with minimal supervision
  • A degree or diploma in a related field is great

$100,000 - $140,000 a year

Pay Rate:

Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

The anticipated base pay ranges below will apply for candidates located in the follow geographic areas:

California / New York / Colorado / Ohio: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00

This role is open to candidates outside of these states with compensation that aligns with the respective location.

This position has a competitive uncapped commission structure.
