Established in 2021, we build interoperability solutions for blockchain technology. Our main product is the LayerZero omnichain interoperability protocol, a low-level communication tool for cross-chain applications. It lets data move between different blockchain networks. Messages are censorship-resistant, and we support permissionless development through immutable smart contracts.
The LayerZero protocol lets developers build “anything omnichain.” We provide the tools to send messages across blockchains, and developers control their security. The protocol includes omnichain contract standards like OApp, OFT, and ONFT. The OApp (Omnichain Application) standard is a general interface for sending and receiving data between contracts on different blockchain networks. The OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) standard lets you transfer fungible tokens across multiple blockchains without needing asset wrapping, intermediary chains, or liquidity pools. Our technology supports a wide range of omnichain applications, including Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Infrastructure, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), and Gaming.
