Job description

We are seeking a Benefits Administrator who is passionate about delivering an outstanding employee experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefit programs for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy and a positive employee experience.
  • Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) processes, including short-term disability, long-term disability, and statutory leaves, with a focus on compliance and empathy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits inquiries, resolving employee issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to ensure accurate enrollment and billing, building strong working relationships.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations, demonstrating accountability for regulatory adherence.
  • Assist with benefits audits and reporting, striving for excellence in data integrity and process improvement.
  • Support immigration-related processes and documentation (preferred), collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Work closely with HR, payroll, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and cross-functional collaboration within People Operations.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance benefits administration efficiency and employee experience.
  • Analyze benefits data and trends to inform recommendations and decision-making, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in benefits administration.
  • Hands-on experience with U.S. and Canadian benefits programs.
  • Strong knowledge of LOA administration and related compliance.
  • Familiarity with immigration processes and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions, especially within People Operations.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ownership of tasks and projects, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce).
