We founded Lokalise in 2017 to provide a localization tool for over 3,000 companies. Our platform helps product, engineering, marketing, content, and design teams manage their translations. We automate the process, offering high-quality, human-level translations through advanced AI or by integrating with a client’s own translators. Our translations achieve over 90% approval rates.

We offer more than 60 integrations, continuous localization, smart workflows, and built-in translation scoring to simplify the process from string to launch. Our aim is to cut down manual work and turnaround times, helping teams produce native, contextual, and on-brand content. We specialize in API, web, mobile app, game, e-commerce, and AI translation.

Internally, we’re focused on our security roadmap, including Zero Trust, identity management, and endpoint security. We also manage compliance for SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. We establish AI governance for the safe use of LLMs and AI tools and develop incident response plans. Additionally, we build and maintain a scalable integrations platform to serve our customers.

We are a fully remote team of 201-500 employees. We embrace a remote-first, startup culture with regular retreats and social events. Our culture promotes inclusion and equal opportunities. While most roles are fully remote, some positions require specific regional residency and work authorization, especially in European countries or Ireland.
