Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
As a Creative Artists/Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for developing original graphic designs and visual assets for apparel, marketing materials, catalogs, and digital platforms.
Working closely with Product Managers and the Creative Team, the role brings client concepts to life while ensuring a consistent and on-brand aesthetic across all projects.
This includes creating artwork for garments, social media, photography, presentations, and production templates, as well as supporting sales, website content, and promotional materials with high-quality creative output.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating unique graphic designs and elements for apparel
Compiling eye-catching on brand presentations for the sales team
Design advertising elements for retail and marketing materials like brochures and tradeshow booth graphics
Helping with the creation of our many catalogs
Display a well-established knowledge of Typography, colour and design
Perform photo editing and manipulation for catalogue and website
Provide creative visual artwork and images for social media, photography, and apparel
Create artwork for templates used by production art team
Receive client artwork request from Product Managers and Customer Service Representatives
Assist in Creating Social Media posts across all platforms
Supporting the Creative Team with assets for our website
Collaborate with Creative Team to keep a consistent look and feel to both design and photography
Supporting all three business unites such as Golf, Pro-Sports and Corporate with 90% of time spent on Apparel Graphics versus Marketing or Digital Assets
Develop original concepts based on existing brand guidelines rather than simply executing templates or following strict directions
Collaboration daily to weekly interactions with product managers through briefs and clarifications.
At least 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role
A portfolio displaying experience in Graphic Design
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Expert level in Photoshop and Illustrator)
Typography skills
Drawing skills - Advantageous
Art manipulation
Photo editing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
High level of attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must provide a portfolio showcasing graphic and illustrative work, with an emphasis on pop culture, sports, and music, demonstrating strong conceptual design skills.
Understanding in pop culture, sports culture, urban brands, and visual language of brands like Kith and Nike, focusing on conceptual design rather than production work.
Knowledge of garment construction, fabric limitations, and print methods is important but can be taught on the job
Understanding of embroidery, screen printing, and sublimation would be beneficial but is not essential if candidates have strong design and art fundamentals
