Mindex Technologies, Inc. (Rochester, NY) seeks a Software Engineer to join our team.
Essential Functions
Design and develop technical software solutions.
Write and perform testing, assist in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed-upon by the team or business unit.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for new and existing systems and platforms.
Use a systematic approach to debug issues located within a single application.
Understand a portion of the team’s applications and gain sufficient context to work productively in that portion.
Design functions that are aligned with the overall service architecture.
Understand the importance of security and utilize this knowledge to ask more senior engineers for help on making decisions that may have security implications.
Document each aspect of a system’s application.
Collaborate cross-functionally with team members and customers to ensure effective and efficient implementation of solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or a related area
3+ months of software development experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, Spring Boot Framework, React, AngularJS, TypeScript, Robot Framework and test automation
3+ months of Enterprise development in an Agile environment
3+ months of Relational database experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server
3+ months experience with SOAP and REST web services
3+ months experience with defect tracking software and all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

The salary for this role is $92,705.60 per year and represents what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
