Survey Scripter - Mumbai - Hybrid 2-3 days a week in the office
Mintel is seeking a Survey Scripter to join a small, highly experienced team of Scripters in our Mumbai office.

Purpose
Survey Scripters are responsible for programming web-based surveys in the Decipher/Forsta surveys platform, based on the Word questionnaire supplied but CRDA Analysts. They work closely with the CRDA Analyst on question layout and design, as well as supplying data files and topline tabulation. The Scripter will communicate and work with external suppliers and panel companies to make sure that the setup, as well as the collection of data, runs smoothly.
Impact
The quality of programming and data collection will directly influence the data and analysis provided to clients. The Scripter’s expertise elevates Mintel’s reputation as a trusted source for high quality and trustworthy consumer data.
What You Will Be Doing:
Programming quantitative consumer surveys: Program online surveys using a combination of Python, XML, HTML and logic.
Survey testing and quality assurance: Check quotas on the project are setup correctly and contain the sample required for each project. Testing routing is consistent with the routing on the questionnaire.
Project management: Liaising with internal teams ensuring research is conducted on schedule.
Managing external supplier relationships: Liaising with external research providers ensuring research is conducted on schedule.
What We Are Looking For:
Programming Expertise: A strong programming background (Decipher/Foster surveys, Python, HTML and XML)
Logical thinking: Being able to break problems down into basic easy-to-program segments.
Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Dedicated to quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in work to elevate Mintel as a top consumer insights company.
Strong Communication: Good verbal and written English communication skills, can adapt communication style to internal and external partners. Speaks clearly, concisely, and presents self with confidence. Has a keen ability to explain and promote analytical output to non-technicians.
Collaboration: Brings energy to the role that encourages and develops internal relationships. Seeks out opportunities to collaborate with peers in the department.
