Founded in 1989 by Dr. Murad, a board-certified dermatologist and pharmacist, we develop clinically proven skincare products. We focus on total skin health, using our proprietary active ingredients and clinical-grade technologies. We are a dermatologist-founded brand, and prestige skincare sales data from the first half of 2023 confirms this. Our product categories include Acne Control, Resurgence, and Environmental Shield, with specific products like Deep Relief Acne Treatment, Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Treatment, Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum, and Retinol Youth Renewal Serum. We organize our products into a four-step regimen: Cleanse | Tone (Step 1), Treat | Repair (Step 2), Hydrate | Protect (Step 3), and Boost (Step 4).

We hold 19 patents, with the first granted in 1998. We are committed to cruelty-free practices; we do not test on animals and only use ingredients that have not been animal-tested. Our environmental initiatives include using biodegradable, corn-based packing peanuts instead of Styrofoam, minimizing shipping box sizes, using sustainable direct mailers, changing plastic trays from PVC to PET, recycling corrugated containers, and printing packaging on FSC certified stock.
