Mysten Labs believes that decentralized and open protocols are the bedrock of the internet of value. This is why at Mysten Labs, we are creating foundational infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies.
We are seeking a self starter with dynamic DeFi experience and markets understanding to play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing native Sui protocols (e.g., DeepBook). You’ll not only contribute to our product development but also shepherd the growth of the larger ecosystem, collaborating with the engineering organization. The team focuses on experimentation and iteration speed. Try things, collect data, make conclusions, then steer the ship as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable DeFi protocols.
Conduct market research to propose new projects.
Build smart contracts, deploy, and setup backend systems to collect data and monitor performance.
Active use of AI: we use Claude and other AI tools.
Must know what’s the latest on CT. Must know what the latest developments are in the other ecosystems, who’s working on what.
Qualifications:
Experience writing smart contracts.
Experience with HFT/MM.
Understands how markets work, how flows work.
Actively engaged in DeFi trading and following DeFi trends/ news.
