Job Description
- Lead and deliver SAP HANA projects, including installations, upgrades, migrations, scale-up and scale-out scenarios
- Ensure stable, secure, and high-performing operation of large SAP HANA landscapes
- Act as a trusted advisor for customers and internal teams on SAP HANA architectures, on-premise and in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Analyze, review, and continuously improve operating concepts for SAP HANA databases and system landscapes
- Perform performance analysis and optimization, including table distribution and partitioning
- Design and operate high-availability and business continuity solutions based on SAP HANA System Replication
- Work with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, including HA Extension (Corosync & Pacemaker)
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for modern SAP HANA deployments
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in SAP Basis and SAP HANA project environments, ideally with project lead responsibility
- Deep hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database architecture and operations, including scale-up and scale-out scenarios
- Strong knowledge of HANA hardware and deployment models (TDI, Appliance, physical and virtual environments)
- Solid understanding of datacenter operations, including OS-level administration (SLES for SAP) and storage mapping in TDI setups
- Proven experience with high-availability architectures, especially SAP HANA System Replication combined with SUSE HA Extension (Corosync/Pacemaker)
- Consulting mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to customers and stakeholders
