Job description
Weβre looking for a Data Operations Specialist to join our team supporting a U.S.-based client. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working with large datasets, CRM systems, and data quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, validate, and standardize large datasets (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers)
- Manage and update CRM records (Blackbaud Raiserβs Edge NXT or similar)
- Perform data imports/exports and ensure data integrity across multiple systems
- Conduct data verification, deduplication, and record enhancement using online research
- Prepare and execute queries, reports, and exports for donor/member databases
- Document processes, maintain audit trails, and report data quality metrics
Core Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel/spreadsheet proficiency (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation)
- Familiarity with CRM or database systems (Raiserβs Edge NXT preferred)
- Strong understanding of data structures, normalization, and field mapping
- Experience in data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality control
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Prior experience with nonprofit or donor databases is a plus
