ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our Enterprise Platforms team. In this role you will design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Security Operations (SecOps) product lines. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reusable, and high-quality platform solutions that drive operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations aligned with business requirements.
  • Build and maintain IT product modules including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM, and SecOps.
  • Develop and customize Service Portal components, widgets, and pages using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and client-side scripting.
  • Create and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, and Notifications.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML-based web services.
  • Write reusable, componentized JavaScript code following platform best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and deliver work within defined sprint cycles.
  • Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, and support UAT to ensure solution quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve platform issues in a timely manner with minimal service disruption.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and operational runbooks.
  • Proactively research and adopt new ServiceNow features, releases, and industry best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of overall software development experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering solutions in at least one of: ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, ITBM, or SecOps.
  • Strong expertise in the ServiceNow platform — Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Now Platform APIs.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience building and customizing ServiceNow Service Portal (widgets, page designer, client-side controllers).
  • Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web service integrations.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification

REFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, or SecOps.
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Reporting, and Dashboards in ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices — CI/CD pipelines, source control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of ITIL v4 framework and service management best practices.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor, culturally diverse, global delivery environments.
