Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Production Planning (PP) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing processes within SAP ECC. You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PP solutions to optimize production planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement SAP PP module solutions for MTS, MTO, and ETO scenarios.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP functional specifications.
- Integrate PP with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and QM.
- Support end-to-end production planning processes including:
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Capacity Planning
- Shop Floor Control
- Provide expertise in master data management (BOM, Routing, Work Centers).
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Deliver training and documentation for end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PP-related issues in production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC PP module.
- Strong knowledge of Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, and Engineer-to-Order manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in MRP, capacity planning, and production order management.
- Experience in integration with MM, SD, and QM modules.
- Ability to work on enhancements, customizations, and support activities.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- SAP certification in PP is a plus.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP or transition projects.
- Knowledge of PP-PI (Process Industries) and APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization).
- Experience in handling ETO scenarios with variant configuration.
