About the role:
The Off-site SEO & AI Search Specialist role at Omnisend is a crucial part of Omnisend’s success. This position is perfect for data-driven individuals who are passionate about ecommerce and marketing, have a problem-solving mindset, and strong interpersonal skills. As the search landscape evolves with AI-powered search engines, this role combines traditional link building expertise with emerging AI search optimization strategies. This role requires the ability to have a research-based mindset. You’ll use all of your skills and knowledge to improve brand visibility across AI search platforms, and be an important part of company growth.
What you’ll do @ Omnisend:
- Develop and execute strategies to improve brand visibility and citations in AI-powered search engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, etc.)
- Manage and report on the success of partnership-driven SEO and AI search initiatives
- Monitor and analyze brand mentions, citations, and visibility across AI search platforms
- Provide new ideas and solutions to improve AI Search visibility and link building processes
- Maintain already established processes of backlinking
- Work with industry-standard SEO tools (Ahrefs, Moz, Majestic, etc.)
- Collect and analyze a variety of SEO, AI search, and performance-related data by using Google Sheets and other tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and AI search optimization
We expect that you’ll bring:
- 2+ years experience in the SEO field
- Have a good understanding of website authority and other quality metrics that influence both traditional and AI search
- Interest or experience in AI search optimization and understanding of how large language models source and surface information
- Proven track record of successfully building and managing SEO campaigns or strategies
- Have a growth mindset and look for ways to constantly improve and learn more
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical and research skills to be able to provide ideas for growth
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment while being able to creatively solve problems and have experience turning ideas into action
- You inspire the team by taking the initiative to own your performance and contributions to the team while being a team player
- Bonus: if you have experience with AI search monitoring tools
