We founded Political Data Intelligence (PDI) in 1987 as an IT services and consulting company. We provide data and software tools to progressive political campaigns and organizations, primarily in California. We help them mobilize supporters, volunteers, and voters.

We offer comprehensive voter data in California, with frequent updates to voter files and early ballot returns. Our data includes accurate ethnicity and race identification, phone numbers, and email addresses. We’ve curated our enhanced voter file for almost forty years.

Our software platform includes a suite of online tools for campaign management. These cover relational organizing, fundraising, voter mapping, data visualization, and analytics. The platform integrates features for canvassing, texting, phone banking, emailing, volunteer management, voter registration, and people lookup, all accessible through a mobile app. We also offer GIS mapping services. This involves creating and managing geospatial data for voter outreach, field operations, and strategic planning. We build datasets for precincts, canvassing turfs, and electoral districts, and produce maps and exports for mobile canvassing applications, field tools, and dashboards.

Our data consultants have extensive experience working with California campaigns. Our client success team offers guidance on targeting and data purchases, best practices, and software proficiency. We provide support through an online knowledge base, videos, email, live office hours, and training boot camps.

Since our founding in 1987, our vision has been to help political campaigns and organizations effectively use voter data and technology. We aim to make campaign work easier and more effective through quality voter data and technical solutions.
