We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and collaborative Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Product Engineering team!
Your responsibilities
You will join a cross-functional team that builds and maintains the Plan A Product help improve Plan A’s frontend architecture, improving interactions and user experience on the carbon accounting platform
Create flexible, maintainable, and reusable features that help users along their carbon accounting and decarbonisation journey
Collaborate with the other Frontend and Backend engineers in your team, as well as the Data, Platform and QA engineers from other Engineering teams on features and technical improvements
Plan and implement features together with design, and product, to make pragmatic decisions and contribute to technology and architecture decisions
Promote best practices and methodologies within the Frontend development team
Foster a healthy and collaborative development environment through mentorship, transparent feedback and communication
Highly proficient in CSS3, HTML5, and TypeScript
Strong experience with React and SASS / SCSS
Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest
Proven ability to lead cross-functional feature implementation, including leading the planning, implementation and release phase
Experience working in an agile Product development environment
Strong focus on scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability of the product
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal English

- Experience with libraries such as TanStack, RTK, or Recharts
