We are seeking a motivated IT Analyst Intern to support our IT Service Desk and cloud operations team. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise IT environments, Microsoft Azure, end-user support, and managed services delivery.
This position is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about technology and delivering exceptional customer service. In our fast-paced financial services environment, technical excellence must be paired with responsiveness, professionalism, and a client-first mindset.
You will be engaged in:
IT Service Desk & Customer Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for internal users and clients, delivering a professional and customer-focused support experience
- Provide Level 1 IT support for systems, applications, hardware, and user access
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and network-related issues
- Support user account provisioning and access management (Azure AD / Active Directory)
- Log, categorize, and prioritize tickets in accordance with SLA standards
- Communicate clearly and proactively with users on ticket status and resolution progress
- Ensure all interactions reflect a high level of empathy, ownership, and accountability
- Maintain accurate IT asset records and service documentation
Azure & Cloud Support
- Assist in monitoring Microsoft Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, backups)
- Support deployment and configuration of Azure services under guidance
- Help monitor system performance, availability, and security alerts
- Assist with documentation of cloud environments and operational procedures
- Learn cloud governance and best practices within a managed services model
Service Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with cloud engineers, IT administrators, and senior support analysts
Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and service reviews
Follow IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and security best practices
Contribute ideas to improve support workflows, automation, and customer experience
Develop an understanding of managed service delivery within financial services clients
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure fundamentals (Azure Portal, VMs, storage, networking)
Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and accept feedback
