A day in the life:

As a Web Developer in our healthcare division you sit at the intersection of creative and technical, turning designs into fast, polished, high-performing web experiences. In this role, you’ll partner closely with designers and project managers to build and maintain WordPress-based websites that move the needle for our clients. You’ll bring both the craft and the judgment to make the right call on performance, security, and code quality, and you’ll do it in an environment that’s constantly pushing what’s possible with technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and plugins
  • Translate visual designs into functional, responsive, cross-browser experiences using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Integrate external APIs into new and existing websites
  • Test and debug websites to ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards are met
  • Implement SEO best practices at the technical level to support organic performance
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on WordPress (custom theme and plugin development)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Solid grasp of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with server administration and hosting environments
  • Experience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standards is a plus
  • Familiarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Node is a plus
  • Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
  • Utilize and leverage Power Digital’s Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
  • Other applicable or related duties as assigned.

  • Sprint Completion Rate ≥ 90%
  • QA required changes completed in under 24hrs

  • Maintain documentation of changes
  • Follow secure coding practices.
  • Participate in standup and code reviews
  • Complete assigned items during sprint
