About RapidAI
We offer a clinical AI platform that helps hospitals assess and manage care more effectively. Our Rapid Enterprise™ Platform uses intelligent imaging and integrated workflows to deliver faster, more informed care across many disease states.
Our applications cover Radiology, Neurology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and Interventional Radiology, with solutions for conditions like Stroke, Aortic disease, Aneurysm, and Pulmonary Embolism. We aim to improve decision-making, patient outcomes, and overall health-system performance.
The Rapid Enterprise™ Platform allows for cross-disciplinary use of our clinical AI, giving healthcare professionals clinically validated decision support. We help improve patient outcomes with real-time insights, boost operational efficiency by streamlining workflows and coordinating across networks, and strengthen financial viability by optimizing service lines, referrals, and treatment decisions.
Our AI capabilities include:
- Triage: rapidly identifies suspected anomalies.
- Localization: views regions of concern.
- Quantification: automates key metrics (e.g., blood flow, anomaly growth).
- Characterization: assesses anomaly severity and morphology.
- Visualization: provides automated 3D renderings.
- Longitudinal tracking: monitors changes over time.
Mobile features provide real-time notifications for suspected cases, allow review of AI outputs and source images, enable team coordination via in-app messaging, and integrate with EMRs for patient case summaries.
Over 2,500 hospitals in more than 100 countries use our platform. Our work is supported by over 700 clinical studies and 11 NEJM publications. We’ve processed more than 20 million scans and have 14 FDA-cleared modules. Historically, we helped expand national stroke-treatment guidelines, extending the treatment window for acute stroke patients. Founded in 2012, our roots go back to the first automated image processing platform for Neurology at Stanford University in 2008. In 2022, we expanded our focus from stroke to Cardiovascular, Endovascular, Aneurysm, and Trauma. In 2023, we launched an Edge Cloud platform for non-contrast CT imaging for ischemic stroke, followed by the Rapid Enterprise™ Platform and Navigator Pro™ for radiology in 2024.
