Job description

This role requires a hybrid schedule based in our NYC Office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to support both end users and IT operations teams. This role is primarily focused on supporting enterprise applications and environments, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate has strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with enterprise systems, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure business initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide support for enterprise applications, environments, and IT operations.
  • Assist with configuration changes and ongoing administration of enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Respond to monitoring alerts and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation, SOPs, and technical procedures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing learning and improvement of internal AI tools and knowledge base.
  • Identify workflow gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional IT projects with operations and development teams.
  • Own assigned tasks and projects end-to-end, ensuring timely resolution and delivery.
  • Act as site liaison for our broader IT Ops team. On occasion acting on behalf of our network team, vendor management.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems independently
  • Experience with administration of the Atlassian Suite of Tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of enterprise tools such as IDPs, MDMs, Video conferencing
  • Strong expertise in Windows and macOS configuration and troubleshooting
  • Support experience with iOS and Android mobile devices
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable working under pressure in visible, business-critical initiatives
  • Strong documentation, knowledge-sharing, and process improvement habits
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and align work with business goals
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and acts with urgency
  • Team-oriented mindset with professional maturity and mentoring skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ITIL or similar service management frameworks
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation for IT operations using (Bash, python, or other language)
  • Prior experience in an enterprise-scale help desk or IT support environment

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to Charlotte, NC on a quarterly cadence
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call shift rotation as part of regular support coverage

Compensation:

  • New York City Compensation Range: $33.00/hr - $40.00/hr*

*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
