Job Description
Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer – Playwright
Work Mode: Bengaluru (Hybrid)
Experience: 7–9 Years
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation frameworks, excellent problem‑solving abilities, and the ability to communicate clearly across cross‑functional teams. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Build scalable automation solutions to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and other software components.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and provide clear documentation for debugging.
- Drive best practices for test automation, code quality, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- 7–9 years of total experience in Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Solid understanding of modern automation tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Proficiency in any one programming language: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Good to Have
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
