POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader for the role of AVP/VP – Project Management Operations within the market research industry. This senior leadership position will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the Operations division, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality data to clients in a profitable and efficient manner.

The role involves providing strategic direction and oversight to the operational team, ensuring seamless execution of projects, and maintaining excellence in data quality and client satisfaction. The incumbent will also be expected to generate high-level insights and actionable recommendations that contribute to the organization’s broader strategic objectives.

This position will report to the Senior Vice President – Quant Bidding & SO PM Operations and will play a critical role in aligning operational capabilities with business goals.

The role is based in India.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Project Management Operations team.

·       Oversee end-to-end execution of market research projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and profitability.

·       Establish and monitor operational KPIs, driving continuous improvement in efficiency and performance.

·       Ensure delivery of high-quality data that meets client expectations and industry standards.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Sampling, Data Processing, and Client Services.

·       Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.

·       Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability across operations.

·       Develop and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

·       Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership for business growth.

·       Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and audit standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.

·       10–15+ years of experience in the Market Research industry, with a strong focus on Project Management Operations.

·       Proven track record of managing end-to-end research projects, including large-scale and complex studies.

·       Extensive experience in leading and scaling operational teams, preferably in a global delivery environment.

·       Strong understanding of research methodologies, data quality standards, and client delivery expectations.

·       Experience in managing P&L, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives is preferred.

·       Strong exposure to quantitative research, bidding processes, and survey operations.

·       Demonstrated experience in client engagement, stakeholder management, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

·       Proven ability to drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and scalability initiatives.

·       Hands-on experience with project management tools, research platforms, and data quality frameworks.

·       Prior experience in a leadership role (AVP/VP level or equivalent) is highly preferred.
