Role Overview
We are hiring a Virtual Catering Assistant to support a fast growing American Fusion restaurant group in the United States. The business operates multiple restaurant locations and runs a high volume catering program that requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and professional communication.
This role is focused on catering execution and coordination, not sales. Once catering jobs are confirmed by the US based sales partner, the Catering Assistant takes ownership of documentation, follow ups, and internal coordination to ensure flawless delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates in Pakistan with experience in hospitality operations, catering coordination, or administrative support for restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
Catering Operations
- Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders BEOs for confirmed catering events
- Ensure all event details are accurate including menu items, quantities, timing, pricing, and special instructions
- Maintain and update a centralized catering schedule
Client Communication
- Conduct professional email based follow ups with catering clients
- Confirm final headcounts, menu updates, delivery instructions, and timelines
- Communicate clearly and politely with US based clients and partners
Internal Coordination
- Share finalized event details with kitchen and operations teams
- Ensure all stakeholders receive accurate information before each event
- Proactively flag missing information, inconsistencies, or risks
Administrative and Reporting Tasks
- Maintain organized records of catering jobs and event history
- Track confirmed events, completed orders, and pending follow ups
- Assist with basic catering reports using Google Sheets or Excel
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in catering, hospitality operations, restaurant administration, or event coordination
- Strong written English communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events
- Comfortable working with Google Workspace and spreadsheets
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote US teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting US based clients or businesses
- Familiarity with catering workflows or BEO documentation
- Background in restaurant operations or food service administration
- Prior remote work experience
