What are we looking for?
Account payable specialist is a key member of the international controllership team consisting of accounting, payroll, and accounts payable.The international controllership team is responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process for the international legal entities across Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia Pacific. The main responsibility of the team is to process and pay invoices in a timely and accurate manner. The account payable specialist is also involved in auditing expense claims in compliance with the SentinelOne expense policy.
What will you do?
- Perform invoice coding to the General Ledger in accordance with the accounting policies
- Apply invoices against POs
- Prepare Payment Batches and payments in the banking applications
- Follow up with invoice approvers on unapproved invoices
- Coordinate with suppliers in case of payment delays or discrepancies
- Audit expense claims against SentinelOne Policies
- Follow-up with employees that violate the policies
- Highlight potential process improvements
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience working in an international I2P environment;
- Experience with Coupa NetSuite & Expensify is a plus,
- High-level understanding of VAT and GST
- Excellent Excel skills;
- High numerical and analytical skills, ability to multitask;
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Pro-active attitude, hands-on mentality;
- Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
- Experience to work within a SOX environment;
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, analyze information and exercise good judgement;
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member;
- Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English.
