Job Description
- Assist the Data Engineering team with migration from BigQuery to Snowflake
- Translate and optimize SQL queries across platforms
- Perform end-to-end validation to ensure data correctness and pipeline reliability
- Write and maintain incremental dbt models
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to team best practices
- Document work clearly to support maintainability and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in data engineering
- Solid experience with SQL, including writing and debugging queries
- Basic knowledge of dbt (data build tool)
- Familiarity with Snowflake and/or Python at a beginner level
- Curiosity for learning and willingness to adopt new tools
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
- Attention to detail regarding data quality and validation
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
WILL BE A PLUS
- Knowledge/experience with Go, Kafka, Airflow
