Sign Solutions, founded in 1998, provides interpreting and translation services to the Deaf community across the UK.

Our mission is To provide access and combat inequality by enabling people of different languages, cultures and communities to talk to each other’ and we do this through our range of non‑spoken services, contributing to breaking down communication barriers for Deaf people.

Our services include face‑to‑face and pre‑booked video interpreting, Deaf Awareness Training, Access to Work support for Deaf employees, BSL translations, and our on‑demand video interpreting platform, InterpretersLive!, a service providing instant communication between Deaf and hearing people through qualified British Sign Language interpreters.

All of our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are looking for a dedicated and organised individual to provide strong administrative support for our InterpretersLive! on-demand video interpreting service. Working closely with our InterpretersLive! clients and liaising with both hearing and D/deaf people.

  • Full time role
  • Remote working Monday and Friday. Office based Tuesday - Thursday, 8.30am-5pm in our offices based in Redditch

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide full operational support for our InterpretersLive! service and client implementation for sales team
  • Customer and Interpreter support
  • Technical support for clients
  • Onboard and maintain Interpreter supply chain
  • Report management information data
  • Manage, arrange and coordinate training requests

Qualifications

Essential skills/qualifications/experience:

  • British Sign Language skills are preferred but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Good knowledge of IT and windows based applications
  • Demonstrates initiative
  • Proactive
