Sleek launched in 2017 and now has around 15,000 customers across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK.  We have around 500 staff with an intact startup mindset.

We have recently raised Series B financing off the back of >70% compound annual growth in Revenue over the last 5 years.  Sleek has been recognised by The Financial Times, The Straits Times, Forbes and LinkedIn as one of the fastest growing companies in Asia.

Backed by world-class investors, we are on track to be one of the few cash flow positive, tech-enabled unicorns based out of Asia Pacific.

We are looking for a leader to establish and run our AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE). This role will own the company’s AI governance, enablement, adoption, and value realization. The AI Transformation Lead will define how AI is used across the business, administer approved AI tools, partner with teams to identify and prototype high-value use cases, and ensure AI is deployed responsibly, securely, and effectively. This person will work across business, technology, security, legal, finance, and people teams to turn AI from isolated experiments into scalable business capability.

Mission:

You will own and drive AI adoption across the company by setting strategy, governing usage, enabling teams, and delivering measurable business impact.

Outcomes:

Governance: AI governance, standards, and operating models are established and understood across the business.

Enablement: Employees are trained, supported, and confident in using approved AI tools responsibly.

Delivery: High-value use cases are identified, prioritized, prototyped, and transitioned into scalable business solutions.

Adoption: Usage and adoption of AI tools increase in a measurable and controlled way.

Value: AI spend and outcomes are visible, with clear tracking of ROI, productivity, quality, and risk.

Key responsibilities:

Strategy and leadership

  • Define and lead the company’s AI strategy and roadmap.
  • Establish the AI Centre of Excellence, including its operating model, priorities, and ways of working.
  • Identify high-value opportunities for AI across functions and align them to business goals.
  • Serve as the central point of leadership for AI initiatives across the organization.

Governance, risk, and policy

  • Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
  • Set rules for responsible use of AI, including data handling, privacy, security, model usage, and human oversight.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, security, and risk teams to manage regulatory, contractual, and reputational risks.
  • Ensure AI solutions are auditable, controlled, and aligned with internal policies.

AI platform and tool administration

  • Administer enterprise AI tools and platforms, including access, provisioning, configuration, and usage controls.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage AI vendors and partners.
  • Oversee licensing, vendor contracts, and AI-related budgets.
  • Prevent tool sprawl by standardizing approved platforms and usage patterns.

Business partnership and use case delivery

  • Partner with business teams to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases.
  • Support the design and delivery of prototypes, pilots, and proofs of concept.
  • Help teams translate successful experiments into scalable operational solutions.
  • Create a clear intake and prioritization process for AI opportunities across the business.

Training and enablement

  • Develop and deliver AI training programs for employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Build internal playbooks, best practices, templates, and reusable guidance.
  • Run workshops, office hours, and enablement sessions to support adoption.
  • Promote AI literacy and responsible usage across the organization.

Adoption, monitoring, and value realization

  • Monitor AI usage, adoption, spend, and business impact across teams.
  • Define and track KPIs for AI initiatives, including productivity, quality, cost, and user adoption.
  • Measure ROI and report outcomes, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
  • Monitor output quality, incidents, misuse, and operational performance of AI solutions.

Cross-functional coordination

  • Work closely with technology, data, security, legal, HR, finance, procurement, and business leaders.
  • Coordinate enterprise-wide AI initiatives to avoid duplication and improve reuse.
  • Build a community of practice for AI champions and stakeholders across the company.

You are a pragmatic builder who can combine strategy, governance, and execution. You are comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams, and you know how to turn emerging technology into practical business value. You are equally comfortable setting policy, running training, evaluating vendors, and helping teams prototype new ideas.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven experience leading AI, automation, digital transformation, innovation, or similar cross-functional programs.
  • Strong understanding of AI and generative AI use cases in business environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across executive, technical, and operational teams.
  • Experience driving organizational change, training, and adoption programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience defining KPIs, ROI, and performance measures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms, LLM tools, workflow automation tools, and data governance practices.
  • Experience in regulated, privacy-sensitive, or security-conscious environments.
  • Background working across both business and technology functions.

Behavioural fit is also important at Sleek, and we will be looking for candidates that have a proven track record of embodying the below attributes in their recent roles:

Ownership: This shows reliability and helps build trust within the team. We move fast and need to know that everyone will see things through to completion and proactively help to get things back on track when challenges arise. Accountability is really important to us.

H umility: There is so much we don’t know. Humility allows for open-mindedness to feedback and a willingness to learn from others. It paves the way for collaboration and creates a positive work environment. It is a key ingredient of self awareness and emotional intelligence.

Structured Thinking: Our business is complex with many layers (many services, many countries, many cultures). Regardless of whether you’re more analytical or creative in nature, being able to show sound judgement is important to us. It ensures solutions are pragmatic and balance the needs of the organisation, team and customers.

Data driven: We are a data rich business with ~15,000 small customers.  Each decision we make can impact many more people than we realise - so it’s critical that we use sound data to support our strategies and review the success of our initiatives.

Can have tough conversations in a positive wa y: It’s not a matter of if, but when difficult interpersonal situations arise.  Disagreement, conflict and disappointment are a given in a fast moving business where people care about their work.  People that proactively have tough conversations with kindness build empathy, trust and great working relationships.
