Soofa

We were founded by women in 2014 out of the MIT Media Lab. We provide solar-powered digital signs, known as Soofa Signs, which are communication tools for cities and advertisers. These signs are deployed in over 57 cities across the U.S., including Boston, Atlanta, and Miami.

For advertisers, Soofa Signs offer placement in high-traffic, unique locations. They also provide tools for campaign measurement and real-time message updates. Brands like Blue Man Group, RedBull, New England Revolution, and Wayfair have used our signs. Soofa Signs are also permitted in locations where traditional outdoor advertising may not be allowed.

For cities, the signs act as a neighborhood news feed, providing real-time community messages and Public Service Announcements (PSAs). They also offer pedestrian foot traffic insights and customizable wayfinding.

Our product offerings include the ZerOOH™ Smart Street Kiosk, a 75-inch full-color, zero-carbon street kiosk, which will be available in Q3 2025. We specialize in tech, data, cities, design, sensors, transportation, parks, OOH advertising, sustainability, and e-ink. Our primary industry is Advertising Services.
