About the Role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead infrastructure and deployment initiatives. This is a hands-on, senior technical position where you’ll shape the strategy for automation, scalability, and security. You’ll design and optimize cloud architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions, ensuring that engineering teams deliver secure, reliable, and resilient applications.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture
Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure in Azure and GCP.
Lead migrations, hybrid solutions, and cost optimization initiatives.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi).
CI/CD & Automation
Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build).
Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management.
Reduce manual work with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
Observability & Reliability
Implement centralized monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs for reliability.
Lead incident response and postmortems.
Security & Compliance
Apply cloud security best practices (IAM, secrets, network security, vulnerability scanning).
Partner with compliance teams on SOC2 requirements.
Integrate “shift-left” security into infrastructure and pipelines.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with development, QA, and product teams.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster knowledge-sharing.
Evaluate emerging tools and practices for continuous improvement.
What You Need to Succeed
5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Expert knowledge of Azure (App Services, AKS, Functions, Azure DevOps).
Strong experience with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, networking).
Proficiency in IaC (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi).
Solid containerization/orchestration skills (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).
Excellent scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
Strong understanding of networking, DNS, load balancers, and cloud security.
