Job Description
We are seeking a highly accomplished SAP BTP Integration Lead to architect, lead, and govern enterprise‑scale integration landscapes across SAP and non‑SAP systems. This is a strategic, hands‑on leadership role requiring deep expertise in SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP Integration Suite, along with strong experience supporting S/4HANA transformations, preferably within RISE with SAP programs.
The role demands a strong understanding of hybrid and cloud integration architectures, API‑led and event‑driven designs, and the ability to embed AI‑driven intelligence—including SAP AI services and SAP Joule—into integration scenarios to improve automation, resilience, and operational efficiency.
You will serve as the integration architecture authority, guiding full‑lifecycle SAP S/4HANA programs, enabling clean‑core principles, and ensuring scalable, secure, and future‑ready integrations across complex enterprise landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Solution Design
- Architect, design, and deploy enterprise integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors) to enable seamless, real‑time integration between SAP and third‑party systems.
- Define target‑state integration architectures supporting cloud, hybrid, and on‑premise landscapes, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and high availability.
- Lead modernization initiatives migrating SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP CPI / Integration Suite, following best practices and clean‑core principles.
SAP S/4HANA & RISE with SAP Enablement
- Lead integration workstreams for SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformations, including RISE with SAP Private Cloud and Public Cloud deployments.
- Design and govern integration patterns between SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP, ensuring alignment with SAP Activate methodology and SAP reference architectures.
- Collaborate closely with functional, BASIS, security, and hyperscaler teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end system interoperability.
AI, Automation & SAP Joule Enablement
- Integrate intelligent solutions using SAP AI/ML services, focusing on automation, classification, prediction, and anomaly detection within integration flows.
- Leverage SAP Joule as an integration copilot to:
- Improve integration design productivity
- Enable intelligent error analysis and root‑cause insights
- Support operational automation and decision‑making
- Drive adoption of AI‑enabled integration patterns, including intelligent routing, payload enrichment, and sentiment or document analysis.
Implementation Lifecycle Leadership
- Guide full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations using SAP Activate: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
- Oversee interface development, unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, cutover planning, and hypercare.
- Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and operational governance of integration landscapes.
Enterprise Integration Coverage
- Lead integrations between SAP S/4HANA and:
- SAP IS‑Oil
- SAP CX (Commerce Cloud, CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- External systems including:
- Banking & payment platforms
- Foreign exchange and commodity price feeds
- Government and sanctions screening systems (e.g., US sanctions sites)
- Logistics, trading, and partner platforms
Qualifications
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10–12+ years of overall SAP experience, with 8+ years in SAP integration roles.
- Strong hands‑on and leadership experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
- Proven experience supporting SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, including interface remediation and modernization.
- Direct exposure to RISE with SAP programs is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of API‑led integration, IDocs, OData, REST/SOAP services, events, and asynchronous messaging.
- Experience integrating SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP cloud solutions.
- Working knowledge of SAP AI/ML services and SAP Joule for intelligent automation and operational insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client‑facing skills.
Additional Information
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certifications such as: SAP BTP – Integration Suite / CPI
- Experience with data migration frameworks and interface reconciliation during cutovers.
- Familiarity with SAP Event Mesh, API Management, and integration monitoring tools.
- Understanding of Clean Core, side‑by‑side extensibility, and SAP BTP best practices.
- Exposure to hyperscaler environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in RISE with SAP context.
- Experience working in Agile / DevOps models for SAP integration delivery.
