Job Description
Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a talented Senior ETL Developer (Informatica) to join our team and support data integration initiatives within a leading financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IICS, with a solid background in data warehousing and ETL design.
Role and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS to support data warehouse and data lake initiatives
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including mappings, workflows, and data models
- Build and optimize data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load large datasets from multiple sources
- Implement data quality checks, error handling, and monitoring to ensure data integrity and reliability
- Tune and optimize ETL performance (partitioning, pushdown optimization, caching)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support testing (UAT, production validation) and deployment processes

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and 2+ years with IICS or similar cloud ETL tools
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase, or similar)
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data governance
- Experience with CI/CD, version control tools (Git/SVN), and ETL deployment processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualification
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Informatica certifications (PowerCenter and/or IICS) are a plus
- Prior experience in similar enterprise data environments is a plus
