Job Description
The Oversight Unit provides SCIB with an independent, objective, and consolidated view of Technology Risk, strengthening the robustness of the control environment and supporting informed decision-making globally.
The team monitors the effectiveness and consistency of Technology Risk management across all regions, assesses emerging risks and structural vulnerabilities, ensures the reliability of information used in global reports, and oversees the remediation of action plans. Through independent oversight and continuous monitoring, it contributes to strengthening technological resilience and global risk governance.
Job Mission
To ensure, from an oversight perspective, compliance with the Group’s corporate policies (CIO) in the technology field, guaranteeing their correct implementation, monitoring, and evaluation across the various entities, countries, and branches operating on the global platform.
The role will contribute to the oversight of technology risk through the analysis of controls, review of evidence, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the control environment.
Main Responsibilities
• Monitor compliance with corporate IT Risk and Security policies globally. • Analyze information and evidence related to technological controls.
• Evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of controls from a risk perspective.
• Monitor deviations and action plans.
• Participate in technological risk assessment exercises using an oversight approach.
• Manage and analyze large volumes of data to identify risks and areas for improvement.
• Prepare executive reports and global dashboards (Power BI).
• Consolidate and structure information in Excel for monitoring and control.
• Maintain continuous communication with international teams in English.
Qualifications
Experience
• Experience in a Technology Risk Department; experience in Audit or 2LoD is a plus.
• Experience in control analysis and evidence review.
• Experience in the financial sector or a regulated environment is a plus.
Technical Skills
• Advanced Excel (handling large volumes of data, pivot tables, control models).
• Power BI (dashboard creation and maintenance) intermediate to advanced level.
• Knowledge of financial technology and business is a plus.
• ITSM ServiceNow (platform that manages digital infrastructure).
Languages and Mobility
• Advanced English (C1 level) is essential.
• Advanced or native Spanish.
