Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Back-end Developer. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated developer with a strong foundation in Big Data technologies to grow within a large-scale banking environment. You will focus on developing and optimizing ETL processes while working in a fast-paced Agile setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL processes using Spark and Scala.
- Work under Agile methodology, managing tasks and progress via JIRA.
- Integrate developments into deployment pipelines, ensuring high code quality through internal validation tools.
- Collaborate with the team to improve data processing efficiency and system reliability.
Qualifications
Technical Requirements
- Programming: Basic knowledge of Scala and Apache Spark.
- ETL: Understanding of ETL logic and data transformation.
- Tools: Familiarity with JIRA and Agile workflows.
- Quality: Ability to integrate code into CI/CD pipelines with a focus on quality.
Nice to Have
- Database: Knowledge of PL/SQL.
- Scheduling: Experience or familiarity with Control-M workload automation.
- Cloud: Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks.
