Job Description
You will join a dynamic team responsible for developing and maintaining real-time trading solutions within a leading FX (Foreign Exchange) technology environment.
Your primary focus will be on Java-based systems, with opportunities to contribute to Node.js components and work with industry-standard protocols and platforms.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in real-time Java development.
- Languages: Advanced English proficiency
- Technical Tools: Solid experience with GitHub and JaCoCo Java Code Coverage.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Java: Advanced level
- GitHub: Advanced level
- JaCoCo Java Code Coverage: Advanced level
- Applications Development: Advanced level
- Software Change Analysis & Control: Intermediate level
Highly Desirable Experience
- Product Expertise: Proven expertise in implementing solutions within the Caplin product.
- Protocols: Solid experience with the FIX protocol, including the design and implementation of FIX-based integrations.
- Node.js: Practical experience with Node.js, particularly in the context of financial or trading systems.
Additional Qualities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in the financial services sector, especially in FX or trading platforms, is a significant plus.
