ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an Account Directorat Talon.One, you’ll play a mission-critical role in expanding our presence across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery through to close—by bringing the world’s most flexible promotions and loyalty platform to top-tier brands.

This is a remote role, open to candidates based in Australia, with occasional travel (~20%) across the region and to our Singapore or Berlin offices as needed.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

You’ll join our APAC 16-people team. This is a dynamic and collaborative group where we focus on building strong partnerships with prospects and customers. Our mission is to drive revenue by delivering measurable value to enterprise clients through highly personalized, technically robust solutions.

As part of the ANZ Sales team, you’ll report to the Regional Director APAC and collaborate closely with Sales Development, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver client success and close complex deals.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

  • Drive new logo acquisition and expansion in the mid-market and enterprise segments (average ACV AU$120k–$250k)
  • Own complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles (typically 3–9 months), often presenting to VP and C-level executives in eCommerce, fintech, travel, and SaaS
  • Serve as the internal quarterback, orchestrating resources across Solutions Engineering, Legal, Product, and Customer Success to move deals forward
  • Run consultative discovery and solution selling to uncover business challenges, map them to Talon.One’s API-based capabilities, and build compelling business cases
  • Represent Talon.One in the ANZ market at industry events, webinars, and partner co-selling opportunities
  • Maintain pipeline accuracy and forecasting discipline in HubSpot, ensuring clear next steps, close dates, and reliable territory planning
  • Ensure smooth hand-off and expansion by partnering with Customer Success to guarantee seamless onboarding and identify up-sell / cross-sell opportunities

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience with annual quotas of AU$750k+, ideally in martech, commerce, loyalty, or API/SDK platforms
  • Proven track record of closing six-figure ACVs with Australian and/or New Zealand enterprises
  • Mastery of solution selling and qualification methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple complex deal cycles and align stakeholders across technical and business functions
  • Technical curiosity and fluency—you understand REST APIs, webhooks, CDPs, and modern commerce stacks, and can translate technical value for non-technical buyers
  • Excellent communication skills—able to engage C-level and functional executives alike
  • Familiarity with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (or willingness to learn)
