ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for a sharp commercial lawyer to join Talon.One as part of our Legal Department. This is a commercial-focused role and you will collaborate with various departments across the business, primarily supporting our sales and go-to-market teams with commercial contracts and partnerships. This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape our in-house legal function and make a significant impact in supporting Talon.One’s mission.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently looking for a new Legal Counsel to join our Berlin based Legal team. We manage and own all legal aspects of our 4 entities worldwide.You will have the exciting opportunity to shape your role within our company and drive initiatives to help the team and Talon.One.
We are operating in a hybrid model and work closely with our stakeholders face-to-face, which makes it crucial for our new Legal Counsel to be based in Berlin
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, RFPs, and SLAs with enterprise customers and business partners
- Support partnership agreements, marketing events, conferences, and sponsorship arrangements
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and address ad hoc legal queries from sales, go-to-market teams, and other stakeholders across Talon.One
- Engage directly with enterprise customers in negotiations and contract discussions
- Conduct horizon scanning, monitoring legal developments and interpreting their impact on the business
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You have 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in an in-house environment, ideally at a tech startup or fast-growing company
- Experience with commercial contracts, particularly in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment
- You can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- You are a fast learner and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple matters simultaneously
- You are qualified to practice as a lawyer in Europe (German experience is a plus)
- You can communicate complex legal advice effectively and provide practical solutions at all levels of the organization
- You enjoy working in a small team in a growing company, with flexibility and responsibility
- You are fluent in German and English
