Will you help take us there?
We are looking for a Head of Human Resources to join us in London. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and continually reviewing the People Experience strategy to ensure this is aligned with the overall business objectives. The role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the People Experience department by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices. Your primary goal is to ensure that we develop and retain the best talent while maintaining a positive work environment and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Develop and deliver strategies to achieve People Experience objectives.
- Create and review employment policies with key stakeholders.
- Lead and develop People Experience teams, promoting best practice and professional standards.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
- Drive continuous improvement in engagement, wellbeing, productivity, and leadership capability.
- Use data to shape commercially focused people strategies and advise senior leadership.
- Build and promote a strong, values-led, high-performance culture.
- Lead complex employee relations cases and model best practice.
- Manage People Experience functions, including resources, budgets, and priorities.
- Provide guidance on grievance, disciplinary, and sensitive employee matters.
Payroll & Rewards
- Review and manage total reward and benefits packages.
- Assess benefits trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Monitor pay structures for fairness and equality.
Performance Management
- Establish clear, fair performance measures and job descriptions.
- Ensure consistent, effective appraisal processes.
- Maintain performance improvement and probation procedures.
Office Management
- Maintain clean, compliant, and cost-effective office facilities.
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
People Management
- Manage a team of 4-5 direct reports across several countries.
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and manage performance.
- Deliver engagement, recognition, and wellbeing initiatives.
Other
- Partner with Talent Development to support career progression.
- Deliver project work as required.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Human Resources Manager role.
- Knowledge and expertise in labour law and payroll is essential.
- Experience managing HR staff.
- A formal qualification in HR is mandatory.
- Record of success in resolving employee disputes.
- Knowledge and expertise in managing employment claims escalated to formal bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and creativity to drive positive change.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional ability to deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred requirements:
- International HR exposure is highly desirable.
Guidelines for Hybrid/Home Office :
- Located in London.
- Please note that you will be asked to enter into a hybrid working arrangement - at least 2x a week in the office.
- A secure home office at your confirmed address, free from background noise or other distractions.
- You must meet our minimum internet speeds if you want to work in our hybrid model and this will be checked during the recruitment process and again when you join. We also have a great office that you can work from as an alternative.
