We founded Test Double in 2011 to provide senior developer and product consultants who embed with client teams. We help solve software problems from strategy to execution.

Our services include software development, product management, DevOps, product delivery, AI-enabled development, data engineering, and technical recruitment. We also offer product strategy, rapid prototyping, continuous discovery, product instrumentation, performance turnaround, coaching, Test Driven Development, Agile methodologies, technical and product due diligence, legacy modernization, Rails upgrades, actionable AI, and automated test suites.

Our consultants use technologies like Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, React, Elixir, Erlang, .NET, Java, Go, iOS, Android, React Native, AI/ML tools, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, and Ansible. Software consultants average 15 years of experience, and product consultants average 12 years.

Consultants, known as ‘double agents,’ identify problems, build consensus, and develop solutions. The company maintains a supportive community where employees grow alongside experienced software engineers and product managers, benefiting from peer support and dedicated growth time.

We offer 5 weeks of flexible time off, 10 paid holidays, and up to 14 weeks of parental leave (8 weeks at 100% of salary).

Our benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Dental and vision are 100% covered for agents and their families. Health insurance is 100% HSA covered for agents and families, or 80% for PPO.

We provide 10% Growth Time each week for professional development and 1 week of conference attendance with up to $3,000 in expenses. You also get new computer hardware every 3 years.

Other benefits include a co-working space reimbursement (half rent up to $500 monthly) and a 2-week sabbatical after 5 years. We also host two company-wide retreat experiences annually.

We also provide short-term and long-term disability, retirement contributions up to 3% of salary, and AD&D for Canadian-based agents.
