Job Description
WHY DEPT®?
We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.
We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.
At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.
THE ROLE:
You are an Director, Client Partner (Paid Media) with 10+ years of experience leading growth marketing strategy, performance media, and go-to-market execution for brands. You bring deep expertise in cross-channel media leadership, budget governance, forecasting, and KPI accountability — with a strong track record of translating investment into measurable business outcomes such as signups, CPA efficiency, event attendance, recruitment growth, and qualified leads.
You are both strategic and operational — manage multi-million-dollar budgets, and guide cross-functional pods spanning media, analytics, creative, operations, and project management.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead overall account strategy, ensuring alignment between client business objectives, marketing initiatives, and executional plans.
Oversee integrated, multi-channel campaigns from planning through launch, optimization, and performance analysis.
Serve as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, providing proactive guidance, insights, and growth recommendations.
Drive initiatives that support client acquisition, retention, brand awareness, and revenue growth goals.
Identify opportunities for innovation, testing, and continuous improvement across programs and campaigns.
Act as the primary escalation point for clients, resolving issues quickly while maintaining strong relationships.
Oversee budget governance across large-scale engagements, including forecasting, pacing, reconciliation, and profitability management.
Manage scopes of work to ensure alignment with client objectives, agency resources, and financial targets.
Maintain accurate revenue tracking and partner with finance and operations to ensure financial health across accounts.
Develop and oversee measurement frameworks that connect campaign performance to broader business outcomes.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-quality delivery.
Continuously evaluate team structure and workflows to improve efficiency, strengthen performance, and support team development.
