Tokyo Supercars - Content Producer
The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for overseeing content creation and
strategy for both the Tokyo Supercars and Tokyo JDM Tours brands. All responsibilities
outlined below apply to both brands.
Content Creation and Strategy
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and CEO to develop and implement
content strategies aligned with brand guidelines and key business goals,
including increasing vehicle utilization, membership growth, revenue, and
profitability.
- Plan, shoot, and direct content onsite at events, experiences, and in the
recording studio.
- Monitor the calendar to proactively identify and attend tours that align with
content goals, capturing valuable material independently and autonomously.
Social Media Growth
- Publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other
messaging platforms such as Whats app and Line for both Tokyo Supercars
and Tokyo JDM T ours.
- Create, manage and update a monthly social media content calendar in line
with the overall content strategy to ensure consistent, effective, and engaging
messaging.
- Post daily stories on social media to maintain an active and engaging
presence.
- Publish multiple short-form content posts weekly on each platform (specific
posting frequency to be finalized as part of the content strategy).
- Publish long-form Youtube content for Tokyo Supercars and Tokyo JDM
T ours. (specific posting frequency to be finalized as part of the content
strategy).
Team and Resource Management
- Manage offshore editors to ensure efficient content production while
continuously refining workflows.
- Coordinate with drivers to obtain content from bookings when not physically
present, ensuring timely submission and smooth content flow for social
media stories and posts.
Content and Equipment Organization
- Extract and organize content from cameras in a timely manner after each
use.
- Maintain a well-structured Dropbox system for all content, organized by date
and event.
- Manage location, proper storage, and transportation of all A/V and camera
equipment provided by Club Velocita K.K..
Scriptwriting and Research
- Write scripts and content plans for long-form YouTube videos and short-form
narrated social media content.
Craft professional and engaging captions for all social media posts.
Conduct research on vehicles and topics relevant to our content needs.
Conduct industry research to inform content strategies and remain ahead of
emerging trends.
- Produce detailed content plans for each shoot and event you attend to be
sent to the team in order to ensure proper organization with the rest of the
team.
