About the Company
Our client is a leading asset manager known for its disciplined investment approach and sophisticated brand presence across client and partner audiences. The company’s in-house marketing and communications team delivers high-impact, highly polished work, often under tight timelines and with senior-level visibility.
About the Role
This short-term role is focused on creating a 2-minute animated video for internal communications. Our client will provide the script, and the selected animator will be responsible for storyboarding, animating, and delivering a polished video that aligns with brand storytelling goals. This is an internal-facing project.
The animator should be comfortable translating scripts into visual narratives, incorporating motion graphics, sound design, and color correction where appropriate. Speed and efficiency are key, as the video needs to be completed before the end of the month, but the final product should still feel professional and engaging.
The ideal candidate can manage revisions quickly, collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback, and work flexibly within varying budgets and timelines.
Prioritized Responsibilities
Animation & Video Production:
- Translate scripts into fully realized animated visuals, developing original imagery, characters, and motion sequences from scratch.
- Storyboard concepts and design sequences that communicate ideas clearly and creatively.
- Apply motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and engagement.
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines, logos, and templates where applicable.
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage revisions and incorporate feedback efficiently.
- Balance speed with quality to deliver engaging, cost-effective content under tight timelines.
- Maintain flexibility to work within varying budgets and project scopes.
Qualifications
Experience / Skills:
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form, event-style, or animated video work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or comparable video editing software.
- Basic motion graphics, sound design, and color correction capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt quickly to evolving creative needs.
