Weโre currently seeking a Junior Level Cleanup Animator to help our team on their next adventure. The ideal candidate enjoys putting their skills and knowledge to use in a variety of styles. Your broader experience in cinematics, gaming and video production pipeline will help you work collaboratively with designers, concept artists, technical artists, and animators to create an immersive and epic experience.
WHAT WILL YOU DO:
Assist the animation team in creating high-quality animations for projects.
Clean-up motion capture data and improve rough animations under the guidance of senior animators.
Follow established pipelines, naming conventions, and file-management practices.
Maintain continuity of animation quality throughout tasks and projects.
Coordinate with producers and supervisors to achieve project goals.
1-3 years of experience as an animator in a studio production pipeline (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
Basic understanding of animation principles.
Experience animating humanoid characters and props.
Experience with cleaning motion capture data.
Creative problem solving for animation related tasks.
Strong communication skills, a team player, and a positive attitude.
Responsiveness to constructive feedback and ability to take direction from leads and supervisors.
Excellent English skills are a must - spoken and written.
Proficiency in industry-standard software, particularly Maya and Motion Builder.
DESIRABLE PLUSES:
Experience working on a game title or in film production.
Familiarity with animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems.
Knowledge of communication tools such as Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
