We’re looking for a skilled IT/DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in keeping our infrastructure secure, efficient, and scalable—while supporting our developers to deliver exceptional software.

This position follows an early work schedule, starting at 6:00 or 7:00 AM, to align with our global collaboration hours.

Day in the Life

IT and Security System Administration

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems
  • Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and ensure quick resolutions
  • Administer and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other end-user systems
  • Perform routine maintenance, including system updates, backups, and disaster recovery procedures
  • Maintain and update documentation for IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures
  • Provide technical support across the organization, addressing IT-related inquiries and issues
  • Train employees on IT systems, applications, and security best practices
  • Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution

DevOps

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of developers into the development environment (AWS Infrastructure) and release processes
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline
  • Continuously monitor and optimize infrastructure costs, escalating when scaling or adjustments are needed
  • Track and improve system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for greater efficiency and scalability
  • Partner closely with development teams to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of production environments
  • Demonstrate proficiency with IAM in cloud infrastructure, as well as Git and GitHub workflows
  • Mentor and train engineers across the company, continually improving processes and practices
  • Utilize scripting to automate tasks such as testing, builds, installations, configurations, and file management

Stretch Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain a robust DevOps infrastructure, covering continuous integration, deployment, and delivery
  • Explore opportunities to enhance the value of the DevOps toolchain through research, automation, POCs, and team feedback
  • Stay updated on new AWS offerings and services
  • Help transform existing development processes into a continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) model

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience as an IT Specialist
  • 2+ years of industry experience in DevOps
  • 1+ years of experience working in Agile software engineering environments (Scrum, Jira, GitHub, DevOps)
  • Strong understanding of requirement management and roadmap development with product managers
  • Collaborative mindset with a track record of effective cross-functional teamwork
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and architectural trade-offs
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Quick learner with curiosity for new technologies and systems.Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable
  • Comfortable communicating with team members across different regions, like China, Singapore, Canada and North America
