ZigZag is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our team!
About The Role:
As our paid media specialist, you will be working alongside a broader team of paid media managers in Sydney, Australia where you will be supporting them with their day to day activities. The primary focus is ad delivery, reporting and optimsations. The primary channels where we surface our media is paid search (Google/Bing) and paid social (Facebook/Instagram/Pinterest).
About the Client:
Our client is an eCommerce performance agency that exclusively focuses on Shopify development and paid media marketing. They work with category challenger brands that offer a direct to consumer purchasing model.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of related working experience in the paid media/advertising landscape
- Must be skilled and knowledgeable in working and managing Facebook Ads and Google Ads
- You love building, creating and optimising paid media ads.
- You are not afraid of the advertising tools and technology and understand the necessary budget, placement and creative requirements for each type of ad you create.
- You have high attention to detail and you’re happy to communicate when things may be unclear.
- You deeply understand the meaning and definition of the following words - CPC/CTR/CPM/CPA/ROAS/CPLPV/IMPRESSION SHARE
- You are comfortable working across many clients and accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ad creation: You will be handed a spreadsheet brief that contains the explicit requirements for the ad, this includes the ad copy, images, audience, placement, objective and budget
- Ad research: At times we will need to look for inspiration and provide thoughts and insights on potential future ads. This can also include ad copy creation for Google and keyword research for the various match types
- Ad reporting: There is a reporting framework we adhere to on a weekly basis and you will be required to fill in the numbers to identify gaps in campaigns or opportunities to grow.
- Ad optimisation: Where you see fit and with approval, you will be required to access ad campaigns, move budgets around and request new creative to enhance performance
- Testing event tracking and goal tracking + Implementing and verifying goal tracking
- Staying up to date with the latest SEM and performance marketing strategies
- Calculating ROI where needed for clients
- Using analytics to analyse campaign performance - Reporting on this Implementing conversion rate optimisation (i.e. A/B, split-testing etc) to improve campaign performance
