Pavago is hiring a strategic and client-centric Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with U.S.-based clients who rely on us to provide top-tier offshore talent from regions like South Africa, Pakistan, and Latin America.

In this role, you won’t just manage accounts—you’ll act as a strategic consultant, helping clients scale efficiently by identifying hiring gaps, recommending offshore solutions, and driving long-term value through thoughtful talent placement. If you’re passionate about relationship-building, upselling through insight, and acting as a trusted business advisor, this role is made for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with decision-makers, understanding their business needs, pain points, and long-term growth plans.
  • Consultative Upselling: Act as a hiring advisor. Identify staffing gaps and recommend offshore talent solutions that align with clients’ business goals. Proactively introduce qualified candidates to solve real business challenges.
  • Retention & Strategic Growth: Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address concerns to reduce churn. Uncover opportunities to expand accounts by aligning hiring strategies with future plans.
  • Talent & Market Insights: Share data-driven insights, trends in offshore staffing, and candidate availability to help clients make informed hiring decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with recruiting, operations, and leadership teams to ensure seamless delivery, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3–4 years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, or Consulting, ideally in recruitment, talent outsourcing, or offshore staffing.
  • Proven track record of upsellinggrowing accounts, and influencing hiring decisions.
  • Strong understanding of Agency Environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and high emotional intelligence.

What Your Day Looks Like

You’ll start your day reviewing client updates and active hiring pipelines. Throughout the day, you’ll lead client meetings, consult on upcoming talent needs, introduce new candidates, and suggest offshore hiring strategies. You’ll collaborate with recruiters to deliver the right match, handle feedback loops, and follow up on renewals or expansion opportunities. Your day ends with a few warm intros and another client closer to their next great hire.
