We’re looking for a virtual Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join our team. As an Advanced Practice Provider in our virtual care team, you’ll play a critical role in delivering outstanding, mostly asynchronous, primary care that improves outcomes and experience for the patients we serve.

What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality asynchronous care to patients with a >90% 4-5 star satisfaction rating.
- Manage a fast-paced caseload of at least 20 asynchronous cases per day while maintaining excellent clinical standards.
- Build strong patient relationships, achieving >80% engagement with assigned patients over 6 months.
- Master our tech platforms and AI-powered workflows within 4 weeks of onboarding.
- Identify and implement improvements by contributing at least one care protocol or operational idea each quarter.
- Communicate effectively in writing, demonstrating top-tier clinical judgment in asynchronous encounters.
- Collaborate internally and across teams with humility and a low-ego, team-first mindset.
- Adapt and innovate constantly, thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Champion async-first care delivery, helping redefine how primary care can be delivered efficiently and accessibly.
About you:
- Licensed in TX (required) with additional state licenses a plus
- 3+ years of primary care experience (family medicine or internal medicine)
- Telemedicine experience
- Available for Sana Care clinical hours: 9am - 5pm CT Monday - Friday
- Strong clinical judgment and deep commitment to primary care.

- Technically adept and innovation-minded.
- Collaborative, low-ego team player. You assume positive intent and meet your teammates with compassionate candor to solve problems together.
- You bring a bias for action paired with intelligent risk-taking
- Outstanding communication skills in person, over the phone, in writing, via email, chat, carrier pigeon, etc.

$115,000 - $130,000 a year
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $115,000 - $130,000 base + equity per year for all US-based remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
