Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Developer to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 6 or more years of professional experience in developing Android applications using Android Studio, with strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. You’ll work on building and enhancing innovative, high-quality mobile apps that deliver seamless user experiences and align with modern development standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java within Android Studio.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that follows best practices and architectural standards.
Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness across a range of Android devices and OS versions.
Debug and resolve technical issues, including crash reports, performance bottlenecks, and UI inconsistencies.
Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers as needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, libraries, and tools.
Qualifications and Skills
6+ years of experience in Android application development.
Proficiency in Android Studio, Kotlin, and Java.
Solid understanding of Android SDK components, Material Design, and architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party libraries.
Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative agile team.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
