Job Description
About The Position
The Regional Operations Associate provides essential administrative and logistical support to drive efficient operations across KIPP’s regions. Reporting to the Manager of Executive Administration, this role focuses on managing calendars, coordinating meetings and travel, organizing materials, and maintaining accurate records that support day-to-day regional functioning.
As a member of the Office of the President (OOP) Team, the Regional Operations Associate plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring smooth administrative operations that enable effective planning and execution. While the core of this role is administrative in nature, the associate will also offer light support on targeted projects and regional initiatives, helping to keep systems organized and timelines on track. This role requires strong attention to detail, proactive organization, and a service-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities

- Administrative & Logistics Support
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth and timely execution of regional operations.
- Support travel arrangements, expense reporting, and event planning logistics.
- Prepare, format, and organize materials for meetings, events, and planning sessions.
- Knowledge Management & Data Entry
- Maintain accurate data entry and records related to regional and programmatic work.
- Organize and file documents, ensuring timely updates and easy retrieval.
- Help manage shared systems for storing and accessing key documents and resources.
- Targeted Project & Coordination Support
- Provide light support on special projects and regional initiatives by helping track deadlines and organizing logistics.
- Assist with drafting or compiling materials for regional communications and planning sessions.
- Offer occasional support for coordination of regional engagements or external-facing events.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring that regional operations and programmatic coordination efforts are executed efficiently and effectively.

Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
3 - 5+ years of work experience and an interest in education and development/fundraising

Location
It is preferred, but not mandatory for this role to be based out of a KIPP Foundation office. This role has the option of working from a remote office full-time. KIPP Foundation offices are in NYC and Chicago.
Compensation and Benefits
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, and relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000-$79,000. In addition, KIPP Foundation provides a variety of benefits to employees, including:
25 holidays for + 18 days additional flexible PTO days (flexible PTO increases to 23 days for years 3 and 4 and to 28 days for years 5+).
