The opportunity

As the TechnologyAdvice brand has expanded exponentially over the past few years, so has the need to continue the expansion of our finance team. We strive to optimize our processes to become even more agile as we play a pivotal role in the continued growth.

We are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper with a strong foundation in billing, revenue recognition, and transactional accounting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate financial data while supporting billing workflows.

The Bookkeeper will gain exposure to leading systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite, contribute to ongoing process improvements, and collaborate across departments to support strategic financial operations. This position offers the chance to build on existing accounting knowledge while contributing to efficiency and accuracy across core finance functions.

The Bookkeeper role will coordinate with multiple departments, businesses, and individuals who are all driving the mission of opportunity for the company. Ensuring those efforts are accounted for and in tip-top shape is critical to our long-term success.

What you’ll do

  • Own revenue-related processes, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Process and maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring timely entry and review of transactions.
  • Utilize Salesforce and NetSuite to manage billing cycles and financial data; regularly update records and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Support audits and internal reviews with accurate documentation and timely data retrieval.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to ongoing process enhancements to streamline accounting workflows and reduce manual errors.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Who you are

  • A degree in Accounting or 2+ years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
  • Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic formulas) and experienced using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive).
  • Familiar with Salesforce and NetSuite or similar enterprise finance and CRM platforms.
  • Highly attentive to detail with a consistent track record of accuracy and quality control in financial tasks.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability; able to self-review and follow up with others to ensure work quality.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and confident communicator; able to explain financial issues and collaborate effectively with non-finance teams.
  • Curious and driven to learn new processes and technologies that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Salary Range

We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range

$50,000—$63,000 USD
