🕺 About the Role
Flex is seeking a talented Brand Design Manager to help build, evolve, and scale our marketing brand. Reporting to the Creative Director and Head of Growth Marketing, this creative role will oversee the development and execution of Flex’s brand identity to support our brand awareness and demand generation goals. The Brand Design Manager will lead creative cross-functional campaigns across web, video, paid ads, packaging, card production, email, events, and lifecycle marketing—partnering with internal designers, freelancers, and vendors. This role blends creative leadership with hands-on execution, and requires a data-informed, highly imaginative thinker who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can scale creative impact alongside business growth.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Creative-Team Strategy & Project Management: Lead the Flex creative team (both in-house and freelance/vendors) to be highly creative, strategic, and efficient—driving team goals, project execution, and cross-functional alignment across all creative initiatives – with metrics, budget and timelines at the forefront.
- Hands-on Creation: Balance strategic leadership with hands-on design work across tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Midjourney, and emerging AI platforms. Video editing skills are a must.
- Ensuring Creative Excellence: Build a five-star Flex brand that’s visually consistent, thoughtful, and high-impact—highlighting the brand-vision, refined taste, and awareness.
- Collaboration at Scale: Operate as a creative subject matter to lead creative conversations at all levels of the business, including leadership presentations, approval management and alignment with teams such as product, operations, sales and cs.
- Product Design Alignment & Consistency: Alignment with the Product Design organization to ensure overall brand consistency, collaboration, and participation in cross-functional critiques.
- Customer Driven Logic and Understanding: Develop the Flex brand to appeal to the correct audience across all channels, speaking to the correct segments of the market with a strong understanding of the Flex ICP.
- Video Strategy and Execution: Help the Flex Brand uplevel goals around video content creation, campaigns, production days, and editing. Work tactically on-set as a director (in partnership with outsourced production), and video editor as needed to polish brand campaigns and rework content to achieve brand goals and metrics.
- Print Creative Production: Carefully own and optimize creative assets when working with printing houses, credit card manufacturers, packaging firms, and event production companies.

⚡️ What You Bring
- A strong portfolio that showcases immense creative skillset, storytelling, attention to detail, and a strong sense of aesthetics amongst diverse brand design projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of graphic design and video editing experience working within a B2B, high-growth environment. Minimum of 1 year of team management experience.
- Excellent time-management, people-management, communication, organization, presentation, and strategic project-management skills using task-management software such as Asana (or Jira, Monday, etc).
- Strong competency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and creative AI. tools, all while keeping the pulse on evolving software and tools in the field.
- Prior experience working across marketing channels that have unique design requirements such as print-design, web-design, presentation design, video production, paid campaigns, email, affiliate, organic, events and influencer marketing with expertise in co-branding initiatives with partners.
- Expert in managing and editing video campaigns from end to end — overseeing everything from initial scoping and run-of-show to vendor hiring, logistics, and producer coordination, through post-production and final delivery. Continuously evaluating performance and iterating to meet key metrics and campaign goals. Video editing skills are a must.
- Knowledgeable when working with web developers or product designers ensuring best practices across desktop, mobile, and UX/UI web-performance.
- Focus and attention to detail to help uphold our compliance standards, guidelines and accuracy across creative campaigns.
- Understanding of how to design web-assets to account for accessibility, ensuring reporting and legalities are thoughtfully considered across WCAG, ADA and AODA.
- Effective at both receiving and providing design critique, and evolving creative outputs based on outcomes, data and results.
$135,000 - $145,000 a year
